Dr. Dan Cutfeet, MD
Dr. Dan Cutfeet is Cree from the remote First Nations community of Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug, in NW Ontario. He attended medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and completed his family medical residency in Victoria at UBC. Dr. Cutfeet has worked in multiple communities in BC including Victoria, Sidney, Duncan, Fort St. James and Alert Bay. His career in medicine has involved family medicine, emergency medicine, long term care, inpatient care and palliative care.
Dr. Cutfeet is a casual guy with the simple goal of providing his patients with excellent medical care as per the standards set by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He strongly believes that the patient-physician relationship is a unique bond that requires dialogue, focus, and commitment by both parties. He strives to provide his patients with the care they require and the attention they need.
