Eve Abrams, RCC
Eve (pronouns she/her) has been a counsellor for 20+ years. She works with adults in the following areas: compulsive overeating and bulimia, living with chronic illness, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ2S+ issues, family conflicts, and relationship concerns, including power imbalance. She has helped people dealing with low self-esteem, communication problems, and life transitions. Over the years, she has worked with numerous clients suffering from childhood trauma and abuse.
She provides tools to change unhelpful thinking patterns and to understand how feelings are linked to underlying needs. She has helped countless people learn to value themselves, develop self-compassion, deal more effectively with their inner critic, and set clear boundaries with others. Eve feels grateful in helping people develop a more trusting relationship with their own minds and bodies, and empowering them to access both inner and outer resources.
Eve holds a Master's in Counselling Psychology from UBC.
