Dr. Collette Melo (She, Her, Hers), a Nurse Practitioner, brings diverse experience in travel medicine, critical care, occupational health, and long-term care. Holding a BSc in Nursing from Malaspina University College, an MN from Athabasca University, and a DNP from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, she is pursuing a certificate in Care of the Hospitalized Patient-Acute Care NP at the University of Toronto. Board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the American College, Collette is passionate about preventing and reversing chronic diseases, providing care for those with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and mental health concerns.

Cameron (He/Him/His, They/Them/Theirs), part of the Beta team since 2021, transitioned from professional musicianship to healthcare due to the pandemic, focusing on creating a safe, welcoming environment for all. A dedicated advocate for the Queer and Trans communities in Victoria, they help organize free events and fundraisers. Additionally, Cameron is an avid visual artist and jewellery maker, specializing in chainmaille and textile arts.

With a career beginning in Brazil and extending to Canada, Thiago has worked with professional volleyball teams to ballet dancers. His approach combines diverse techniques with a strong commitment to his patients' health and well-being.

With over 23 years in multidisciplinary settings, she has honed her skills in providing the best possible care for her patients. Rhonda's experience includes a rewarding period with the National Mountain Bike Team, as well as working closely with Cycling Canada, Pacific Sport, Rowing Canada, and UVic's sports injury clinic. She is currently an instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.

A Certified Craving Change Clinician, she's registered in British Columbia, Ontario, and Alberta, and is committed to an inclusive, culturally safe practice.

Registered as a Certified Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist, she focuses on treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and provides tailored care for ICBC clients. With experience in treating all individuals, Quinn's approach is patient-centred and supportive, combining manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation to create individualized treatment plans for each person’s needs. She aims to help people return to work or sport, prevent injuries, and move through their daily activities with ease.

Born and raised in Victoria, his active lifestyle and background as a volleyball player inform his understanding of high-level competition and injury prevention. Dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal function and pain-free living, Leon enjoys coaching volleyball, weightlifting, and walking his brother's dog, Morty, in his spare time.

She focuses on treating pelvic floor conditions and has trained in the Hypopressive method, Pfilates, and K-taping. Outside of her clinical work, Marianne enjoys CrossFit and exploring Vancouver Island's outdoors with her family and dog.

Aysha's (She/Her/Hers) path to becoming a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine began after acupuncture transformed her own health. Educated at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and trained in Acupuncture Sports Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College, she's also an Acupuncture Detox specialist. Relocating to the Comox Valley in 2014 for a family-oriented lifestyle, Aysha returned to her career in 2015, later starting her own practice. Now in Victoria, she focuses on stress and anxiety reduction, addictions, PTSD, athletic performance, and injury prevention. Aysha enjoys hiking, yoga, beach walks with her dogs, and hockey-related activities with her family.

Melissa (She/Her/Hers), a Physical Therapy graduate from PUC-Campinas (2001), specializes in treating sports and motor vehicle injuries using dry needling, acupuncture, and manual therapies. She educates patients on their conditions for effective rehabilitation. Having developed pre and post-operative protocols for the Banff Sports Medicine Centre and worked with Alberta Ballet dancers, Melissa enjoys helping to educate her patients alongside their rehab. When not in the clinic Melissa stays active through cycling, hiking, and weight training. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
